Spring Classes
Summer Baseball and Softball Camp

Spring Classes-NEW STARTING DATES
All Skills Class (hitting, fielding, pitching) This baseball class offers the opportunity to learn the correct way to throw, catch, hit, and run the bases (working on all over baseball skills). This program will focus on these specific areas, and work to develop skills and strengthen game performance needed to have more success and more fun on the playing field! Wednesday’s April 10-May 1 (4 weeks) 5:30-6:30 or Friday’s April 12-May 3 (4 weeks) 5:30-6:30. Cost $160

Hitting Class This class will provide instruction and drills for players to help improve their hitting mechanics. Each class will focus on different aspects of hitting, in order to help players progress in their development. Topics covered will include: handsy hitting, opposite field hitting, pulling the ball, linear/rotational hitting, and pitch recognition. Hitting class will also provide players with extra repetitions, which will help them augment the practice they are getting with their house and travel teams. Combination Hitting and Pitching Class

Hitting This class will provide instruction and drills for players to help improve their hitting mechanics. Hitting class will also provide players with extra repetitions, which will help them augment the practice they are getting with their travel and summer teams.

Pitching This pitching program is designed to teach proper mechanics as well as keys to maximizing velocity. Players will be able to refine their mechanics and accuracy with adapted drills and practice. Class will also cover drills to improve delivery, pick-offs, pitch selection and developing a game plan. Here are some key areas we will be focusing on during class. Arm strength, Pitchers Off-Season Conditioning, Mechanics, Velocity, Location, Balance, Timing, Arm care, Grips. Friday’s April 12-May 3 (4 weeks) 4:30-5:30. Cost $160

Over 5000 kids have participated in our camps over the last 12 years-Chicago’s largest summer baseball camp!

Lincoln Park Baseball Academy’s summer camp at OZ Park will use three fields this summer which allow us to spread out. The campers will be separated by age and skill level on their assigned field (by age). The same kids will be in the same group each day with the same instructors. We will make every effort to keep friends and family members together.

The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills, as well as a daily scrimmage games. Camp will be conducted by LPBA’s professional staff.

Details: LPBA full-day summer baseball camp runs Monday-Thursday starting June 10 through August 23. Baseball camp registration is week to week with full day sessions from 9am-3pm. We will not be offering half day sessions this summer, but you are welcome to pick up your child early. Fridays will be used as a rain make-up day from that week. Cost $310 per week

2024 Oz Park Girls Softball Camp
The softball camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including hitting, pitching mechanics, baserunning, and defense. LPBA softball camp is open to girls ages 7-13.
Details: LPBA girls softball camp will run Monday-Thursday June 17-June 20, June 24-June 27, July 8-11, July 15-18 at Oz Park, camp registration is on a weekly basis. Camp sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12:00 pm, Fridays are the rain makeup day from that week. Camp will be conducted by LPBA’s professional staff, coach Logan Robinson will be the lead instructor.  Cost $185 per week.

LPBA Game Day-Presented by Pillbox Bat Company

LPBA’s Game Day program will include a two-hour sandlot game, Homerun Derby, and around the world game. Prizes will be awarded to the winners (apparel, bats, bat bags, and more). Friday’s starting June 17th through Friday August 16th, 9am-noon at Oz Park. Boys and girls ages 8-13 on the SE diamond the sandlot game will be a two-hour free-play style game where the kids manage and pick the teams, LPBA coaches will serve as umpires and bench coaches. Players will pitch and catchers can bring their own gear to catch. Players need to bring their own glove, bat, and helmet, LPBA will not lend out equipment. Cost: $30 per player per Friday Limited Space!!
