LPBA Saturday Winter Camp at Lincoln Park High School-4 Week Sessions

Session #1 February 2-March 2,  Session #2 March 9-March 30

All Skills Camp This all skills camp will include instructive drills relating to base running, throwing, pitching, defense, outfield/infield play, and batting. This program will focus on these specific areas, and work to develop skills and strengthen game performance needed to have more success and more fun on the playing field! Boys and Girls (Ages 6-13) Four-week programs Saturdays 10:00am to 11:00am $150

Hitting Camp This program teaches the mechanics of a proper swing and the techniques that make a good hitter. Instruction will include, fundamental mechanics, body positioning, alignment, stance, grip, follow-through, live hitting drills and hitting games. Boys and Girls (Ages 6-13) Four-week programs Saturdays 11:00am to Noon $150

Multiple session discount of $25 will be given at checkout
Sessions will be separated by age and skill level and will be limited to the first 25 participants in each session.
Camp is held at Lincoln Park High School 2001 N Orchard, parking is free in their lot off Armitage

Winter Classes at Bash Sports Academy

Building a Young Hitter, 7 – 10s
This program teaches the mechanics of a proper swing and the techniques that make a good hitter. Instruction will include fundamental mechanics, body positioning, alignment, stance, grip, swing path, using live hitting drills and games. Boys and girls.
Tuesdays at 5:00 – 6:00 PM, Starts January 15
6 weeks: $165 per player

Winning Hitting for 10 – 12s
This intermediate program teaches the mechanics of a proper swing and the techniques that make a good hitter. Instruction will include proper stance, set up, timing and swing path, as well as how to think through an at-bat. Class will feature live hitting drills and hitting games. For both boys and girls.
Fridays at 4:00 – 5:00 PM, Starts January 18
6-week class: $165 per player

Building a Young Pitcher 8-9s
This 6-week class, taught by the Lincoln Park Baseball Academy is designed to teach proper mechanics to our youngest pitchers. Players will be able to refine their mechanics and accuracy with adapted drills and practice. Class will also cover drills to improve delivery, pitch selection and developing a game plan. Key areas: mechanics, location, balance, timing, arm care, grips. There will also be age appropriate instruction on building arm strength.
Mondays, 4:00 – 5:00 PM starting January 14.
6 weeks $165 per player

Winning Pitching for 10 – 12s
This pitching program is designed to teach proper mechanics as well as keys to maximizing velocity. Players will be able to refine their mechanics and accuracy with adapted drills and practice. Class will also cover drills to improve delivery, pick-offs, pitch selection and developing a game plan. Key areas include: mechanics, grips, arm strength, velocity, location/command, balance, timing, arm care.

Mondays, 5:00 – 6:00 PM starting January 14.
6-weeks: $165 per player

High Performance Pitching
Ages 13 and over
Adding velocity is essential for pitchers, but can also help every defender on the field.  In this six-week class, Coach Steve Borg will take you through safe, effective methods to increase your mph from the pitching rubber or anywhere else.
We will focus on arm strength and conditioning, building a strong base and foundation for the season. Class will incoporate proven methods of increasing arm strength, including J-band work; Power Core 360 for shoulder, arm and core strength/stability; plyoball work; med ball work; long toss drills and more. Note, we will NOT use weighted baseballs for this program.
Fridays, January 25 – March 1, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
$270 per player

Offense/Defense Combo Class for 7 – 10s
This class will use instructive drills to help your young player understand and improve their hitting, base running, throwing, pitching, defense, and outfield/infield play. Develop skills and strengthen game performance needed to have more success and more fun on the playing field! For both boys and girls.
Tuesdays at 4:00 – 5:00 PM, Starts January 15
6-weeks: $165 per player
