2019/2020 Pitching Classes

LPBA PITCH (Pitching, Instruction, Training, Conditioning, Health)

Developmental Pitching
Ages 8-11
This developmental pitching program is open to players 8-11 and is a beginner/intermediate class. This program is designed to teach proper mechanics from stance to follow through.  Players will be able to refine their mechanics and accuracy with adapted drills and practice. Class will also introduce learning to hold runners on, pick-offs, pitch selection and fielding the position. Ages 8-11 year olds
Monday’s 4:30-5:30 December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 or Saturday’s 12:00-1:00 December 7, 14, 21, 28, Jan 4
Five-week class: $160.00

 Off—Season Pitching Program
Ages 9-12
This pitching program will focus on proper mechanics, pitching mentality and building arm strength as well as keys to maximizing velocity. Players will be able to refine their mechanics and accuracy with adapted drills and practice, this is a intermediate + class.  Class will also cover delivery, pick-offs, fielding the position, pitch selection and developing a game plan. Here are some key areas we will be focusing on during class. Arm strength, Mechanics, Velocity, Location, Balance, Timing, Arm care, Grips. 9-12 year olds Wednesday’s 5:30-6:30 December 4, 11, 18 Jan 8, 15 or Saturday’s 1:00-2:00 December 7, 14, 21, 28, Jan 4

 Advanced Off-Season Pitching Program
Ages 13+
This pitching program will focus on proper mechanics, off-season conditioning, pitching mentality and building arm strength as well as keys to gaining maximizing velocity. We will also work on 2^nd and 3^rd pitches. This program has been created to mold and enhance pitchers for the upcoming travel ball and high school season. Ages 13+
Monday’s 5:30-6:30 December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 or Wednesday’s 6:30-7:30 December 4, 11, 18 Jan 8, 15 or Saturday’s 2:00-3:00 December 7, 14, 21, 28, Jan 4
Five-week class $160.00

Space is very limited for all classes!!

All classes will be small to ensure a low player to coach ratio, players will be grouped by age and skill level

Classes will be held at Practice Chicago 2128 N Halsted (Halsted/Webster)
